HMD added a new design patent of a Nokia device to EUIPO

HMD has been regularly submitting new design patents to European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), with the latest being added on 4th December, but the request was made public today. The patent carries the number 004534600-0001, and apart from the filing date, that’s all we know about it. HMD Global now has 8 different devices whose designs were protected, but we do not know what they are and how they look. Registered and fully published design patents are patents for: Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, Nokia 8, and Nokia 3310.

HMD Global also owns a lot of former Nokia design patents, including the design patent for Nokia (Lumia) camera UI. Also, the design patents can include software, packaging or accessories, so all unknown HMD patents don’t need to be just mobile phones.
