Update: Coming this year.

  • Muerte

    Well this is good πŸ™‚

    • This is super fantastic. Flagship model will definitely have ZEISS. Future Nokia devices are now almost leveled with where they stopped. lets see what else they got, maybe glance? Double tap to unlock?

      • Double tap is everywhere now. And with FP sensors, the double tap as well as lockscreens have become useless. You tap FP and you’re at homescreen. You barely see that boring lockscreen πŸ˜€

      • Viccky maurya

Yes, they are resuming from where they stopped. 😊😊

  • Hemedans

Maybe they delay Nokia 9 because of This?
Lets hope graphene rumors are true, i cant wait to see new chapter of Nokia mobile Innovations.

    • Feanor12

Yeah.. I also can’t wait to graphene come true!! πŸ™‚

  • LoveNokia

I’m here! Just got caught up with a lot of work (at work and at my house).

I’m trying to remodel, and it’s quite expensive…

But I can’t wait until I buy a replacement for my Nokia 808… Great camera! Xenon flash, Zeiss optics.

  • Rocky

Wait, Nokia PureView technologies? Isn’t it’s also a hint? Great!
(for a press release, I think they won’t make mistake about this one) πŸ™‚

    • No, PureView was mentioned as an achievement, but who knows, software development will be implemented in this cooperation as well.

      • Rocky

At first glance I also think like that (just mentioned), but few indications like from Microsoft’s website and this, maybe PureView will coming πŸ˜€

  • Viccky maurya

Ahaa… This is superbbb news. I m so happyπŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜œπŸ˜œπŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ i have nothing to say, only too much happy.
I dont know what is going inside Shameung and Fepple…

  • Rce

    Party time!!!,
So,my previous assumption is right from Nokia 7 onwards camera of Nokia devices will reach new heights..

    • Viccky maurya

      I think the same…

      • Rce

Nokia 6 pre order plan cancel πŸ˜€

    • It was in the air, especially after those drawings with ZEISS logo came out.

      • Viccky maurya

Yes, but in starting it was seemed to be fake.

  • Okay. Officially cancelling my purchase of Nokia 6.

    Waiting for THIS!

    • Viccky maurya

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ it seems ‘Nokia’ and ‘Wait’ are also partner…

      • Hahaha! But this wait is gonna be exciting!

    • HahaπŸ˜‚ I am waiting till August for Nokia 6 copper 😊

      • Don’t. Not worth it anymore hahahah!
        I might still buy a 6 though πŸ™‚

        • hehe… I am thinking of Nokia 7 now πŸ˜›

          • Viccky maurya

Same here… But i cant hold my wait anymore… If you wait for new phones you will end up with no phone..πŸ˜‚
Remember- a person always regrets after marriage and after purchase of new phone….why? Bcoz he thinks if he has waited for some more time then I would have got more latest modelsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ so go, buy a Nokia 6..πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

          • LOL You went from a phone to a girl hahahhahha

          • Viccky maurya

πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ™‹, dont know what does @EricLovesSymbian think about me this time?

          • LOL

          • EricLovesSymbian

            EricLovesSymbian says:

Looks like we both love women!!!
Nice, beautiful, clean and smooth, great curves and a silky silhouette, easy on the eyes, built to endure … simply Gorgeous!

Wait, are we still talking about the design of Nokia phones?

          • Hahhaha. This was an epic reply πŸ˜›

          • Viccky maurya

          • Rce

Ha ha,from mobile to marriage best comment. :p

          • Viccky maurya

      • Viccky maurya

I am all set to buy Nokia 5 this Monday…

        • Best of Luck to find one πŸ˜›

  • Rce

One thing is for sure that they’re just announcing it now,but the work behind doors has already been started, and maybe within next 2/3 months we will see 2/3 Nokia device with Zeiss..
Give me a Lumia 830 with android..

  • Abhimanyu Chauhan

I think they are bringing pureview trademark not just technology.I checked Microsoft website about 2 weeks ago.there was no mention of pureview trademark.

    • Viccky maurya

I also did the same and told about it to @stipe1906 and he said that MS still own these trademarks but didnot mention it on their site. πŸ˜‡ so i think they will bring the same PureView tech with some other name

      • Jason

MS just owns Lumia trademark. It does not own PureView and Clearback. Dont see it listed on MS website either:

        • Abhimanyu Chauhan

i used wayback machine to check trdemark on microsft site pureview trademark is not available on ms site since the acquisition of buisness

          • Viccky maurya

According to Nokia-MS deal , Microsoft was supposed to own Lumia,Asha,PureView,ClearBlack,Surge and Mural trademarks.

          • Jason

Not sure then. This is confusing.

          • Only Nokia/HMD Global can make things clear now. Time will tell. Stay positive and hope these trademarks stay with Nokia. πŸ™‚
May be Microsoft changed their mind. OR they might have made an another deal for making Nokia branded W10 Mobile phones in 2018?

          • Jason

Ideally MS should not keep these trademarks. They aren’t even making smartphones and should give the trademarks back to Nokia atleast if at all they own it as a favor for what they,ve done to Nokia 4 years back.

          • Yes! You are 100% correct πŸ™‚

        • Rocky

But US Patent and EUIPO said otherwise

  • This is such a nice community. πŸ™‚ All are like friends. No one knows each other personally still have some good chats. I have seen this only on Nokia related websites. πŸ™‚ As I have never visited blogs related to other brands πŸ˜›

    • Rce

Just visit Samsung,Motorola (After Lenovo) and Xiaomi forum, they’ll teach you how to act rude and how to use a smartphone with different false and vague techniques.. πŸ˜‰

    • Viccky maurya

      Nokia-Connecting People.
      Samsung-Irritating People
      Apple-Fooling PeopleπŸ˜‹

      • Rce

        Xiaomi – waiting people..☺

        • Same goes for current Nokia 3, 5 and 6 πŸ˜›

          • Rce

It’s temporary in Nokia’s case, but permanent in xiaomi’s case ..

    • EricLovesSymbian

      EricLovesSymbian says:

      Very heartwarming comment.
I definitely feel the same way.
Seeing how we all have a common interest (the success of Nokia) and we are all from different parts of the world, it amazes me how much u itt we show.
Different upbringing, different religions, different ages, different education level, different parts of the world, different interests, different time schedule, different ways of thinking – yet, we all converge on this site, and discuss things Nokia related…

      I share your amazement.

This is a wonderful site and again, I thank you for referring me here, and I thank the owners of this site.

Thank you for giving us a medium in which to express ourselves freely.

The smartphone cooperation between ZEISS and @Microsoft mutually ended with the beginning of the cooperation with HMD.— ZEISS Camera Lenses (@ZEISSLenses) July 6, 2017

    • Seems logical. πŸ™‚ The whole partnership was a logical thing to do. πŸ™‚

    • Viccky maurya

I was thinking that what would have happened to Zeiss and MS partnership? But now its clear.😊

  • The price of Nokia 5 on one of the retailers website in India has been increased πŸ™ Its now 14299/- instead of 12899/- πŸ™

    • Viccky maurya

Now I think, I should go for Moto G5….πŸ˜”πŸ˜”

      • πŸ˜‚ LOL
        Why? 😝😜

        • Viccky maurya

No clear date for Nokia 5 makes me so angry that i want to send hmd team behind prisionπŸ˜•

          • Jason

Thats fine. They are just starting up. As Nokia fans we should support them. Am sure they are working day and night. Just wait a while buddy and you should have it. 😊

    • Jason

That’s unofficial. Its only sold offline at the price of 12999. Croma is being unethical here.
