YouTube Watch Later Bug That Made Saved Videos Disappear is Now Fixed

• Others received error messages such as “playlist does not exist” or “No results found” when trying to access the playlist.

• A number of users reported that their Watch Later list appeared broken or empty across multiple devices, including phones, desktop computers and streaming devices like Roku.

The impact was especially frustrating for users with large Watch Later collections. One Reddit user noted that their playlist contained around 1,100 videos, yet they could only scroll through roughly 50 on mobile. On desktop, the same playlist reportedly appeared completely broken. Another user said their Watch Later list had vanished across all their devices.

YouTube says the issue is fixed

YouTube has not provided a detailed technical explanation of what caused the bug or whether the fix required a new app update. The company’s confirmation simply states that the issue is resolved, suggesting that the change may have been implemented on the backend rather than through a visible app update.

Even so, users who still do not see their full Watch Later playlist are advised to check that they are running the latest version of the YouTube app. In many cases, ensuring the app is up to date can help restore normal functionality after server-side fixes are deployed.
