Xiaomi has quietly become the first non-Google smartphone manufacturer to begin the global rollout of the stable Xiaomi Android 16 update, marking a significant milestone in the Android ecosystem. Xiaomi Android 16 Update First arrives on Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 14T Pro
As first reported by Xiaomi Time, the Xiaomi 15 was the debut device for the Android 16-based HyperOS 2.3 update. This rollout is not limited to China—users across the globe are receiving the update under version OS2.0.217.0.WOCMIXM.
Following closely, the Xiaomi 14T Pro has also started to receive the stable Android 16 update globally, with firmware versions OS2.0.214.0.WNNEUXM for Europe and OS2.0.214.0.WNNMIXM for international markets.
More Devices Set to Receive Android 16 Soon
While the stable build is currently available for only two flagship devices, Xiaomi is actively beta testing Android 16 on several other models. This includes the Redmi K70 series, Poco F7 series, Poco X7 Pro, Xiaomi Mix Flip, Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, and more. These devices are expected to join the stable rollout in the coming weeks.
