HMD launches Barbie Phone in India for 7,999 INR

Today, HMD introduced a new flip phone for the Indian market—the HMD Barbie Phone. It is a classic flip phone featuring Barbie’s iconic hot pink color scheme and an old-fashioned numeric keypad.

HMD confirmed its Indian availability. The Barbie Phone comes with a 2.8-inch main QVGA display and an additional 1.77-inch cover screen.

The device is equipped with the UNISOC T107 chipset, 64MB RAM and 128MB internal storage. It runs the S30+ operating system.

You can also expand storage up to 32GB with a microSD card. The battery has 1,450mAh capacity, which promises up to 9 hours of talk time. On the rear, there is a VGA camera equipped with an LED flash. Other features include Bluetooth 5, FM Radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type C port, and an MP3 player. You can also get a Barbie-inspired interface along with pre-installed apps such as Malibu Snake, Barbie Meditation, and Digital Balance Tips.

The price of the Barbie Phone in India is 7,999 INR.
