Nokia 5.4 India launch confirmed and teased on Flipkart

Nokia Mobile has been actively promoting the launch of Nokia 3.4 in India on its social media profiles for the last three days. However, some reports suggested that the company is also planning to launch the Nokia 5.4 on February 10.

Now, Flipkart has put up a dedicated page teasing the arrival of the Nokia 5.4. The teaser page has vibrant banners promoting the 6.39” HD+ punch-hole display and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor on Nokia 5.4, but the visuals are not presented on a Nokia 5.4. There are two videos highlighting the rear cameras, the 4000 mAh battery and the colors of the device as well.

While Nokia 5.4 inherits the overall design of Nokia 8.3 5G, it has slanted textures on the back that comes in good-looking Polar Night (Blue) and Dusk (Purple) colors. The Nokia 3.4 has a similar layout on the front as the other Nokia devices with punch-hole display, but a different rear camera module and a vertically textured case as well that comes in Fjord (Blue), Dusk, and Charcoal colors.

In my opinion, Nokia Mobile has not been able to repeat the success of Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus in India with its recent smartphones. However, if the company manages to price the Nokia 5.4 and Nokia 3.4 reasonably, then both the smartphones might prove to be a game-changer for the company in India.

Since Flipkart is teasing the device, Nokia 5.4 might sell in India exclusively on Flipkart and Nokia Mobile store at first, and then in a month’s time it will possibly make its way to the other online and retail stores.

Currently, the pricing for Nokia 2.4 starts at ₹10399 and for Nokia 5.3 at ₹12999. So the price for Nokia 3.4 might start somewhere around ₹11500 (€130, $158), while the Nokia 5.4 might share the launch price of Nokia 5.3, which was ₹14000 (€160, $192) in India.
