Nokia 6.1 received just received its September security patch. I updated our TA-1043 this morning, and the installation went smoothly. The update was 81.7 MB large and just brought the Google’s security patch for September.
There is some good news regarding the Android Pie arrival on Nokia 7 Plus. This popular Nokia phone was almost the first non-Google phone that received the stable Android Pie update, but One Plus 6T beat it by days. Juho Sarvikas noticed that and revealed to the impatient Nokia crowd that the update is nearly ready for the release. HMD found a couple of tricky platform specific certification bugs. They sorted that and are doing a final round of tests for quality assurance.
