Honor 700 Series Leaks Point to 200mm Teleconverter Support and a Rear Display

Honor’s upcoming 700 series could put photography and battery capacity at the centre of its appeal. New claims from two prominent Weibo tipsters suggest the Honor 700 and Honor 700 Pro will support a 200mm teleconverter, while the wider lineup is tipped to feature narrow display bezels, Snapdragon processing and a rear-mounted screen.
The latest posts also suggest reservations could open soon. Honor has yet to confirm the specifications, reservation schedule or launch date described in the leaks.
Both Main Models Tipped to Support a 200mm Teleconverter
According to Digital Chat Station, teleconverter support will extend to both the standard Honor 700 and the Honor 700 Pro. The tipster specifically mentions a 200mm accessory, although details about its design, availability and compatibility remain undisclosed.
The same post describes a series built around a mid-sized display with ultra-narrow bezels, a large battery, a Snapdragon chipset and a periscope telephoto camera. A built-in rear screen is also mentioned, though the latest claims do not clearly establish which features will be shared across every model.
A second tipster, Smart Pikachu, broadly echoes that description, highlighting high-resolution imaging, extended battery life, teleconverter compatibility and a “creative” rear display. The post also points to Live Photos captured with both the front and rear cameras, alongside a fashion-focused design.
Neither account provides a complete specification sheet for the standard Honor 700.
Honor 700 Pro Prototype Reportedly Packs a 9,000mAh Battery
Earlier claims from Digital Chat Station provide a more detailed picture of the Pro model. An engineering prototype is said to feature a 6.57-inch display with a “1.5K” resolution and symmetrical, ultra-narrow bezels on all four sides.
A 1.72-inch rear display has also appeared in previous reporting, alongside the same front-screen dimensions and a 200MP main camera. Its placement and full range of functions remain unclear.
The more recent prototype specifications add a 50MP periscope telephoto camera and a battery of approximately 9,000mAh, reportedly the largest in the Honor 700 family.
If those details carry through to the retail device, the Pro would combine a substantial battery with a comparatively moderate front-screen size. For now, however, the figures describe an engineering unit rather than confirmed production hardware.
Three Models Are Expected, but the Full Lineup Is Unclear
The Honor 700 family is rumoured to include three models in China. Earlier reporting did not identify the third device, so its name and positioning remain unconfirmed.
That leaves several important gaps in the picture. It is not yet clear how the standard and Pro models will differ in battery capacity, camera hardware or rear-display functionality, nor whether the third variant will share the headline features.
The phones are also tipped to arrive in four colours whose names translate approximately as Cool White, Clear Sky, Blues and Pink Mist. Final marketing names may differ.
Ju Jingyi Hinted as the Series’ Brand Ambassador
Both tipsters refer to a new celebrity ambassador. Digital Chat Station describes an A-list name, while Smart Pikachu tags Chinese actress Ju Jingyi in the relevant post.
That tag suggests Ju could be associated with the launch campaign, but it is not an official announcement of a partnership.
Smart Pikachu also claims reservations are about to open, potentially signalling that Honor is preparing to begin promoting the series more actively.
Launch Timing Still Needs Official Confirmation
An earlier report published in October placed the Chinese launch in November. That makes November the previously reported window, although Honor has not confirmed a specific date in the information available here.
The emerging picture is of a camera-focused lineup with an unusual combination of teleconverter support, a secondary display and large batteries. The main unanswered questions are how those features will be distributed between models—and which prototype specifications will survive into the final products.
