HMD Vibe2 Pro Launching in India on September 29: Specs and Features

HMD is expanding its smartphone portfolio in India with the imminent release of the Vibe2 Pro, officially slated to hit the market on September 29. Following the rollout of the standard Vibe2 earlier this May, the new Pro variant is targeting users looking for extended battery life and localized software features.

Under the hood, the Vibe2 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is built for endurance, featuring a massive 6,000mAh battery backed by 33W wired fast charging. Appealing to wired audio traditionalists, HMD has also confirmed the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For optics, the smartphone relies on a dual-camera system headlined by a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor alongside a 2MP macro lens. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 13MP front-facing camera.

On the software front, the Vibe2 Pro will ship with Android 16. In a major push toward accessibility and localization, HMD has integrated Indus AI into the operating system, delivering on-device generative AI assistance tailored to support 22 distinct Indian languages. HMD confirmed the device will be available in three color options at launch.
