Honor Win RT 2 and Turbo 2 Launch with a Record-Breaking 12,070mAh Battery

Honor has officially introduced its gaming-focused Win 2 series to the Chinese market, shattering industry endurance standards. The newly unveiled Honor Win RT 2 and Honor Win Turbo 2 debut with a staggering 12,070mAh Qinghai Lake battery, marking the largest battery capacity ever equipped in a smartphone from a mainstream brand.
Honor Win RT 2: Uncompromised Gaming Hardware
Positioned just below the flagship Win 2, the Honor Win RT 2 is engineered for extreme performance. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with advanced LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. To manage the immense thermal output of sustained mobile gaming, Honor implemented its Dongfeng turbo cooling system. The device also features the Phantom Engine with AI render-display separation, which the company claims boosts 1% low frame rates by 20 FPS.
The visual experience centers around a 2K display boasting a 185Hz refresh rate, driven by Honor’s in-house WIN Display chip. It utilizes dual Demura calibration and 5920Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain. For competitive gaming, the screen delivers a 5000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, 520Hz ten-finger touch sampling, and an ultra-low 21ms tap latency.
Housed in a matte metal frame featuring a customizable WIN energy ring with over 40 lighting effects, the RT 2 also includes an 800Hz gyroscope, a C3 RF chip, and dual 1216 speakers. The camera array is led by a 200-megapixel 1/1.55-inch main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), flanked by a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.
Honor Win Turbo 2: Accessible Power
The Honor Win Turbo 2 delivers the same core endurance and visual speed at a more accessible price point. While it skips the active cooling fan and steps down to a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, it retains the massive 12,070mAh battery and the 6.89-inch flat LTPS OLED 2K 185Hz display. The Turbo 2’s panel reaches a blinding 10,000 nits of peak brightness and integrates both WIN Display and WIN Touch chips.
Power management features include 90W wired fast charging, 27W wired reverse charging, and bypass charging—allowing gamers to draw power directly from the cable to reduce heat. Honor claims the device can handle up to 17.7 hours of continuous gaming on a single charge.
The Turbo 2 shares the RT 2’s extreme touch sampling rates and 800Hz gyroscope but adds a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for biometric security. Audio is handled by dual 1216 symmetric speakers equipped with 16.7cc sound chambers and AI-driven enemy footstep enhancement. Photography is anchored by a 50-megapixel Sony main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and a 50-megapixel selfie camera capable of 4K video.

Both the RT 2 and Turbo 2 boast 0.93mm ultra-thin bezels and carry rigorous IP68, IP69, and IP69K durability ratings against dust and high-pressure water.
