Vivo Y32 is built around one big promise: fewer trips to the charger

Vivo has listed the Y32 in Bangladesh and Nepal, positioning the phone around long battery life and a more durable build. Its main attractions are an 8,000mAh battery, 44W wired charging, a 120Hz display and IP68/IP69 dust and water-resistance ratings. Pricing has not yet been announced.

Battery life is the headline feature

The Y32’s 8,000mAh battery is the clearest sign of its priorities. Vivo pairs it with 44W wired charging and says the phone can also supply power to compatible devices through reverse charging. The capacity looks promising for extended use, although real-world endurance and charging times will need to be tested.

There is a trade-off in size and weight. Depending on the finish, the Y32 weighs 229g or 230g. Its 6.87-inch display provides a spacious viewing area and a 120Hz refresh rate, but the 1592 × 720 resolution is relatively modest for such a large screen.

Cameras and durability

A 50MP main camera handles most photography, accompanied by a 2MP sensor for bokeh effects. An 8MP front camera covers selfies and video calls. Vivo has also included stereo speakers and a fingerprint reader built into the power button.

The phone carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance under specified test conditions. These ratings offer reassurance against exposure to water, but they do not make the Y32 permanently waterproof; resistance can diminish with wear.
