Samsung Galaxy S26 FE appears in certification listing with flagship-style camera island

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE

Samsung’s next Fan Edition smartphone is beginning to come into sharper focus, and the latest leak offers one of the clearest indications yet that the Galaxy S26 FE is on the way. After earlier reports suggested that the device would succeed last year’s Galaxy S25 FE, fresh certification material now appears to confirm not only its existence, but also key details about its design.

The new development comes via certification documentation, which includes an image of the handset itself. While previously leaked case renders gave only a rough impression of the phone’s shape and layout, this latest visual provides a more direct look at the upcoming model. Most notably, it suggests Samsung is bringing one of its newer design cues to the Fan Edition lineup by introducing a raised rear camera island similar to the styling seen on recent flagship Galaxy devices.

Beyond that change, the Galaxy S26 FE appears to remain broadly in line with its predecessor in terms of overall design. The phone shown in the certification image features a flat display with rounded corners, a centrally positioned punch-hole selfie camera, a clean rear panel, and a triple-camera arrangement paired with an LED flash. The power and volume buttons are placed on the right side, while the frame appears to retain a metallic finish, reinforcing the premium look Samsung typically aims to offer in the FE series.

The image also points to a dark grey or black finish, suggesting this shade will be among the launch color options. Although the certification entry references 5W wireless charging, that figure is unlikely to reflect the final charging capability and is widely believed to be a placeholder rather than a confirmed specification. Expectations remain that the phone will support faster wireless charging, likely in line with the standard set by the previous generation.

While the certification listing does not reveal a full hardware breakdown, earlier leaks have already outlined some of the expected core specifications. The Galaxy S26 FE is said to feature an OLED display supplied by BOE, run on Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, and ship with 8GB of RAM. Software-wise, the device is also expected to launch with One UI 9.0 based on Android 17, giving it the latest version of Samsung’s mobile software out of the box.

Taken together, the current wave of leaks suggests Samsung is preparing a relatively familiar update rather than a dramatic redesign. The Galaxy S26 FE may preserve the formula that has defined the Fan Edition line in recent years, while refining the visual identity just enough to align it more closely with the company’s flagship smartphones. If that approach holds, the device could appeal to buyers looking for a more affordable Galaxy experience without stepping too far away from Samsung’s premium design language.
