Fidelity increases its stake in Nokia above 5%

Nokia Corporation announced that the holdings of FMR LLC have exceeded 5% of the company’s total shares.

According to the notification, the threshold was crossed on March 2, 2026. FMR LLC is the parent company of Fidelity Investments, one of the largest investment managers in the world.

Under the Finnish Securities Market Act, shareholders must notify the company when their holdings cross certain thresholds such as 5%, 10%, or higher.

Nokia currently has 5,742,239,696 shares outstanding, representing the same number of votes. This means that a 5% stake corresponds to roughly 287 million shares.

The notification does not imply any change in control of Nokia, but it does indicate that Fidelity has become one of the larger institutional investors in the company. Nokia’s ownership is largely dominated by major institutional funds such as BlackRock, The Vanguard Group, and the Finnish state investment firm Solidium.
