HMD Touch 4G revealed in new photos and packaging

After the unofficial reveal of the HMD Touch 4G, new hands-on photos shared by @smashx_60 give us a closer look at this interesting little device. The Touch 4G continues HMD’s push into the feature phone category, but this time with a touchscreen interface instead of a traditional keypad.

The device has a compact body with a 3.5-inch touchscreen and a single button below the display, reminiscent of older Nokia Asha models. The rear design features a circular camera module housing the main camera and LED flash, while the HMD logo sits neatly at the bottom. Two colour options are shown – cyan blue and dark grey, both with a metallic finish and textured sides.

The retail box reveals that HMD is keeping things simple but complete. Inside, users will find:

  • the HMD Touch 4G device,
  • a fast charger with Type-C cable, and
  • a transparent jelly case for protection.

According to the images, the packaging is transparent, which makes the phone visible from the outside. This a fun and nostalgic approach for a feature device.

The HMD Touch 4G supports dual SIM and 4G connectivity, with chat and video calling apps preinstalled. It’s not an Android smartphone but a smart feature phone that aims to bring essential modern features in a compact, distraction-free form.

The device is expected to launch in India soon with a price tag of ₹4,999 (MRP).

If you’re looking for a simple, stylish backup or digital detox phone, this might be one of the most interesting HMD devices yet. But, I would wait for the first reviews in case it turns out to be something to avoid. Although, I like the looks of it.
