Realme Pushes Battery Boundaries With 7,500 mAh and 10,000 mAh Phones

7500 mAh

Realme recently unveiled the global GT 7 and GT 7T at an event in Paris, both of which feature massive 7,000 mAh batteries with 120W fast charging. However, the company isn’t stopping there. Realme has confirmed plans to push battery technology even further.

In an interview with Android Headlines, Realme stated its ambition to become synonymous with battery innovation—much like Oppo and Vivo are known for their camera technologies. As part of this strategy, Realme revealed it will launch a smartphone with a 7,500 mAh battery by the end of 2025.

Although the specific model wasn’t confirmed, it’s speculated that this could be the upcoming GT 8 Pro. The GT 8 Pro, expected to launch later this year, will succeed the GT 7 Pro, which featured a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 120W fast charging, and a 6,500 mAh battery.

Even more ambitious is Realme’s plan to introduce a smartphone with a 10,000 mAh battery. While no exact launch timeline was provided, the company did showcase a prototype earlier this month. The device measured 8.5mm in thickness, weighed 215 grams, and used a battery with 10% silicon anode, reaching an energy density of 887 Wh/L. To make room for such a large battery, Realme developed a compact 23.4mm motherboard—the smallest in the Android world.

These developments underscore Realme’s aggressive approach to innovation in battery life, aiming to set a new industry standard.
