Global Realme GT 7 Series go Global: Massive Battery, Super-Fast Charging and Upgraded Cameras
After an extended teaser campaign, Realme has officially launched the global versions of its GT 7 and GT 7T smartphones. Both models bring impressive hardware, including MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, massive 7,000mAh batteries, and ultra-fast 120W wired charging.
Realme GT 7 (Global Variant)
The global edition of the Realme GT 7 features notable differences from its Chinese counterpart. Instead of the Dimensity 9300+, the international model is powered by the Dimensity 9400e chipset. It also sports a slightly toned-down 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate—lower than the 144Hz panel found on the Chinese version. The device offers configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
One major upgrade on the global GT 7 is the enhanced camera setup, which includes a dedicated 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. This is paired with a 50MP main sensor (IMX906) featuring OIS and a 1/1.56” sensor size, along with an 8MP ultrawide camera. The front-facing camera has also been improved to a 32MP sensor, and the phone features an under-display optical fingerprint scanner.
The rear design incorporates Realme’s new IceSence cooling technology, which uses graphene for improved thermal performance. Realme claims this system outperforms traditional copper heat sinks, offering a reduction of up to 6°C in chipset temperature.
The device runs Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15 and promises four years of major Android updates and six years of security patches. Other features include IP69-rated dust and water resistance, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
Powering the phone is a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 120W fast charging. According to Realme, the battery can charge up to 50% in just 14 minutes, while a full charge takes 40 minutes. The phone also supports bypass charging, reducing heat during gaming or intensive use.
The Realme GT 7 is available in IceSense Black and IceSense Blue color options. A special GT 7 Dream Edition, co-designed with the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team, features a Racing Green finish, engraved silver wings badge, and comes in exclusive packaging that includes a Silver Wing phone case and an F1 racecar SIM ejector pin.
Realme GT 7T
The GT 7T serves as a slightly scaled-back version of the GT 7. It maintains the same 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits peak brightness. However, it is powered by a custom Dimensity 8400-Max chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
On the back, the phone features a dual camera system consisting of a 50MP main sensor (IMX896) and an 8MP ultrawide lens (OV08D10). The selfie camera remains a 32MP sensor, and the device also includes an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.
Just like the GT 7, the GT 7T runs Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, with the same promise of four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. It also offers IP69 protection, and is equipped with the same 7,000mAh battery and 120W wired charging, delivering identical performance in terms of battery life and charging speed.
