Lava Smartphone Price Hike: New Prices Take Effect November 15

Lava

Lava has announced plans to increase smartphone prices in India by up to ₹3,000 from November 15, 2026, citing ongoing memory shortages.

The Indian handset maker said the revision will apply across its smartphone portfolio. However, it has not disclosed model-by-model increases, leaving buyers without a detailed breakdown of how individual devices will be affected.

Memory Shortages Prompt Price Revision

In its statement, Lava attributed the decision to shortages affecting the availability of memory components.

“In the current industry environment, ongoing memory shortages have necessitated a price revision of up to INR3,000 across our smartphone portfolio, effective 15th November, 2026,” the company said.

The announcement sets a maximum increase rather than a uniform rise. It does not mean every Lava smartphone will become ₹3,000 more expensive, and the company has yet to specify the revised price of each model.

Lava Highlights Festive Offers Ahead of the Increase

Alongside the announcement, Lava encouraged consumers considering a smartphone purchase to take advantage of its current festive promotions before the new prices take effect.

According to the company, those offers are available through leading e-commerce platforms and its offline retail network.

“Consumers looking to upgrade their devices have a strong opportunity at this moment, as our products are currently available at festive prices,” Lava said, urging customers to purchase before the revision.

That recommendation forms part of the company’s sales message. The announcement does not provide a detailed list of current discounts or explain how those promotional prices will compare with the revised rates.

Revised Prices for Individual Models Remain Unannounced

The key outstanding detail is the pricing of individual smartphones after November 15. While Lava has confirmed the effective date and maximum increase, it has not identified which models will receive the largest adjustments.

For prospective buyers, the announcement establishes a clear deadline for the planned revision—but not yet the precise difference between purchasing a particular model now and buying it after the increase.
