Final Nokia Phones Coming Before HMD Deal Ends in 2026
|It seems like we’re approaching the final chapter of the Nokia mobile story—at least the one told by HMD Global. According to the always-reliable smashx_60, HMD is planning to use up what’s left of its licensing agreement with Nokia by releasing a few more feature phones in 2025.
Since the Nokia G42 launched back in June 2023, we haven’t seen a new smartphone under the iconic brand, and even the once-consistent lineup of feature phones has been reduced to a trickle. However, HMD still has some nostalgic magic up its sleeve before the curtain closes.
Here’s what’s allegedly coming soon:
- Nokia 3510 4G
- Nokia 5710XA 4G (2025)
- Nokia 130 Music (2G)
- Nokia 150 Music (2G)
- Nokia 8310 4G
It’s a mix of reimagined classics and music-oriented devices that might serve well in markets where basic phones are still in demand, or for those looking to unplug from the smartphone life. I do hope that HMD gives more work on the quality of the buds inside the 5710XA device.
But what’s next? Well, unless something drastically changes, it looks like 2026 will mark the end of the road for Nokia-branded phones made by HMD. That’s not entirely unexpected, considering HMD has been shifting focus toward building its own brand of devices. Still, for fans of Nokia’s legacy, this slow fade-out hits with a tinge of sadness.
We’ll keep an eye out for any official confirmations and hands-on time with these devices once they’re out. Until then, maybe it’s time to charge up your old 3310 and play a few rounds of Snake…
