HMD Christmas 2024 offer in the UK

HMD has shared a list of phones from their latest lineup, available in the UK this Christmas. They’ve smartly divided their offerings into three categories based on buyer preferences: nostalgia, creativity, and innovation. However, the “innovation” label feels a bit misplaced, as I haven’t seen much groundbreaking from HMD recently—except perhaps for the Smart Outfits, which are nice but not particularly innovative and, more importantly, still unavailable. Man, they could have done much more with the Outfits, but played safe which might bring them another failure. That said, some of the phones are intriguing and may be great choices, especially with the clever use of nostalgic Nokia design.

HMD Barbie™ Phone – For the Festive Barbie

  • Price: £99
  • Availability: Buy here
  • Colours: Barbie Pink

The HMD Barbie™ Phone is a must-have gift this Christmas, combining nostalgia with digital detox. With no social media apps, it’s perfect for those looking to unplug and enjoy quality time. It also comes with a built-in mirror, ensuring you’re always glam on the go. But hurry – it’s a limited edition!

Although the American barbie phone is way better, this World Wide edition is cool, especially the box. Do check unboxing here.

HMD Skyline – For the Creators

  • Price: £399 (8/128GB), £499 (12/256GB)
  • Availability: Buy here
  • Colours: Neon Pink, Blue Topaz, Twisted Black

HMD Skyline, launched in July 2024, is a premium smartphone designed for content creators. It boasts a 108MP triple camera, 50MP selfie camera, and a repairable design, making it a fantastic choice for accident-prone creatives. Skyline also features a bespoke ‘Detox Mode,’ helping users manage their screen time while maintaining their creativity.

Now, the Skyline is an interesting phone, but I have experienced, and still am experiencing, a lot of software issues, especially with the camera app, which is making me go back to the Nokia X30. Also, the phone is slippery, so try to find a silicone case. Otherwise, I guarantee you’ll drop the phone because it is a slippery one.

Check the unboxing here.

HMD Fusion – For the Innovators

  • Price: £229 (6/128GB), £249 (8/256GB)
  • Availability: Buy here
  • Colours: Twisted Black

For the innovators in your life, the HMD Fusion is all about customisation. With modular technology, users can switch up functions with ‘Smart Outfits,’ including the ‘Flashy!’ selfie light attachment. This phone is a perfect mix of innovation and creativity, letting users adapt the phone to their needs.

I haven’t had a chance to test this phone, although its hardware specs are not that promising. However, I must say that the outfits do make it a tad cooler. If only HMD made it fully transparent….

Pulse Pro – For the Money Savers

  • Price: £149.99
  • Availability: Buy here
  • Colours: Glacier Green, Twilight Purple, Black Ocean

The Pulse Pro is a selfie enthusiast’s dream, offering a 50MP selfie camera in a sleek, affordable design. Its modern aesthetics, combined with repairability and bold colours, make it a great value gift for anyone looking to save while staying stylish.

I tested this phone, and it is just another low end entry phone that does cost a bit more than it should, but it is rather versatile in its specific group.

Nokia 3210 – For the 2000s Baby

  • Price: £74.99
  • Availability: Buy here
  • Colours: Scuba Blue, Grunge Black, Y2K Gold

The Nokia 3210 is a blast from the past, perfect for Y2K fans. With a retro design and Snake pre-installed, this modern version of a classic phone keeps things simple. Its 2MP camera and long-lasting battery bring just enough tech without the distractions of social media.

I played with this and it is looking great although I don’t like the keypad tones. Definitely is a cool phone. Check the review.

HMD is delivering style, nostalgia, and innovation this Christmas season. Which phone will you be gifting?
