HMD announced HMD Crest and Crest Max in India

HMD launched the improved Pulse for the Indian market: HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max. The device’s core is the same, pretty much matching what smashx_60 leaks had indicated. The device almost looks like a stripped-down HMD Skyline. Crest is powered by a relatively new octa-core Unisoc T760 that has two power cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and supports 5G networks. The processor is built using a 6nm process, making it less battery-hungry.

However, the 6.67-inch large OLED display in Full HD+ will use the rest of the battery system. Speaking of the battery, its capacity is set at 5000 mAh, and it can be charged with 33W chargers.

HMD Crest will come in a 6/128GB memory configuration, while Crest Max will offer 8/256GB memory. Another difference between Crest and its Max version is the camera setup. Both have a 50 MP selfie camera, but Crest has a 50 MP main camera followed by a 2 MP depth camera, while Crest Max comes with a 64 MP main camera, a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2 MP macro camera.

It is nice to see that Crest will be available in three colors: Aqua Green, Royal Pink, and Deep Purple. In India, HMD Crest will cost Rs 14,499 (€159) while the HMD Crest Max will cost Rs 16,499 (€181).
