Nokia 225 (2024) renders leaked
|While new Nokia smartphones won’t be part of the renewed HMD strategy, Nokia feature phones are still on the horizon. HMD intends to launch a new Nokia Original, the Nokia 3210 and also plans to refresh previously launched feature phones such as the 6310, 5310, and others like the Nokia 225.
OnLeaks has just unveiled renders of the new Nokia 225 (2024), which will come in two rather interesting colour options: a pink one similar to the Nokia G42, and an ion greenish colour, both intriguing.
In contrast to the Nokia 225 from 2020, the 2024 version appears more pronounced with sharper and cleaner lines, resembling the aesthetics of an iPhone on the back and sides. This design departs from the original roundish body Nokia initially introduced in 2014. While the back has transformed, the front of the phone retains its original appearance.
The specs remain unknown, but I doubt they will surprise us. The phone will likely feature a USB-C charging port, which is gradually becoming a standard, and will probably run on the S30+ OS with a classic 2.4 to 2.8-inch display.
How do you like it? I must say that I miss the old Nokia looks which cherished the Fabula design and soft polycarbonate shell in vibrant colours.
