HMD will launch new Nokia audio accessory soon
|According to the Bluetooth SIG website, HMD is getting ready to launch new Nokia Wireless Earphones. The certificate popped up on March 12th, revealing that these earphones will come with the latest Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, suggesting a good gaming and audio experience.
The company listed as the maker of these earphones is Shenzhen Bluetrum Technology Co., Ltd. This means that RichGo most likely won’t be making Nokia-branded accessories. This is confirmed by their page not even responding (at least it wasn’t during the writing of this post).
Now, on Bluetrum’s site, there is a headphone that looks like the one RichGo made before, and the specs are available. However, the BT SIG certificate doesn’t reveal the type of headset HMD is bringing nor the hardware.
Specifications:
– Bluetooth V5.4 + BR + EDR + BLE specification
– Maximum TX output power: +10.5dBm
– RX Sensitivity with -94.5dBm @2M EDR
– High-performance stereo DAC with 104dB SNR, supporting differential mode and VCMBUF mode
– Three-channel high-performance ADC with 102dB SNR
– Three-channel MIC amplifier input
RichGo products, at least the higher range products, were rather good and well-designed. The new partner might have products of similar quality as the specs look decent enough to wear the Nokia name.
Also, does this certificate mean that Nokia brand will still be on audio accessories?
