Nokia G42 5G with 4GB RAM variant announced in India

Nokia G42 was among the last Nokia devices Nokia Mobile, now HMD, announced last year. I don’t consider the orange G22 as part of the new announcements. The Nokia G42, the device that has been on the market since September 2023 in India, is now available in more memory variations.

The first version that came to the Indian market is the model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, priced at Rs 12,599 ($152). Later, the 8GB+256GB memory configuration was announced, making the device a bit more expensive at Rs 16,999 ($205).

Now, HMD has introduced a Nokia G42 that has 4GB of RAM, which can be extended by an additional 2GB allocated from the internal memory. The internal memory is fixed at 128 GB, but the price tag is lower at Rs 9,999 (~$120). The device is available in So Purple and So Gray colors and will be available from Amazon India starting on March 8th.
