Google Maps Navigation goes 3D on Android, iOS and Android auto

Google Maps is getting another useful feature for its navigation app – 3D view. For the time being, only a limited number of users can access this feature, so we can conclude that its development is at an early stage, that is, it is going through a certain testing phase.
According to some users Reddit users, who somehow managed to activate the new feature, before activating the navigation, it is necessary to enable the 3D view on the map and then zoom in on the content. After that, the route starts to be displayed in 3D, and the objects at a certain moment become transparent, i.e. retain their outlines, so that the user can follow the route more easily.

The same sources suggest that Google is testing this feature on both iOS and Android apps, along with the Android Auto system in vehicles. At the moment, it’s unknown when 3D navigation will become available to all users, but let’s hope we won’t have to wait for too long.
