Merry Christmas dear Nokiamobsters
|Merry Christmas to all who celebrate!
It’s rather quiet in the Nokia news regarding new or current phones, as you might have noticed. And that is why we are taking things slow these days. But hey, it’s Christmas, and this time of the year is about taking things easy and enjoying the little things. That’s why I took a nice walk with the family to the city center.
The weather is absolutely fantastic here in Split. It seems to me that all someone wanted for Christmas was summer. But the winter cheer is still present. People are mingling, and a lot of great musicians are enhancing the atmosphere in the city. After a good walk around the city, it was time for some traditional meals, which are usually cod fish in bianco and good red wine (Crljenak, Kaštela 15% ABV, from the land where the famous Zinfandel was born). Later we usually have local sweets like fritule or hroštule (fried dough) and coffee (usually espresso, and I prefer the Jameson blend).
All in all, just a perfect day to enjoy the holidays. Now that I’m back home, I just checked if there is anything interesting for you to share from the Nokia world. CES and MWC are coming, so something new should be getting ready. EUIPO page is revealing a new phone design being patented, which could suggest HMD or Human Mobile Devices is getting ready to show at least one phone. I think it is going to happen at MWC2024, although Nokia Mobile achieved some great results in the US market, so we might see them at CES also.
Anyways, I wish you a happy, healthy, and peaceful Christmas wherever you are, Nokiamobsters.
All shots are taken with the Nokia X30, which is my daily phone. I must say I prefer the under-the-screen fingerprint scanner more than the side one on XR21.
