As we are getting closer to IFA and the holiday 2020 season in general, more info about what Nokia Mobile is preparing for us is being leaked. The latest leaked image comes from the well-known leaker Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks. He leaked the press image of the upcoming Nokia 2.4.
The Nokia 2.4, as can be seen from the leaked image, comes with a tear-drop notch screen on front and with a dual-camera setup on the back with a fingerprint sensor. The backside has a nice texture that reminds me of the Nokia 1.3 and we can identify the device with the model number TA-1270, which we saw passing few certification agencies. Specifications we gathered from the different certification agencies look something like this:
So, we are dealing with a low-end device, which the clock (2:40) and the name of the device suggests. It’s interesting that the date is set at 1st September (today!), so unless Nokia Mobile announces the 2.4 by the end of the day, it’s safe to assume that this one was pushed back a bit. Probably due to the COVID pandemic. This leak also indicates that the announcement is near, at least judging from the past leaks by Evleaks that were mostly few weeks or days before the devices go live.
