Nokia launches vendor-agnostic 5G certification program

Every new generation of mobile connectivity technology also needs experts and programs to teach other aspiring experts how the network works and how it will evolve. Nokia just launched such a program for 5G, claiming the knowledge their certification program will share is vendor-agnostic, meaning it can be applied regardless what company was the vendor of the network gear.

This certification program is aimed at professionals at communications service providers and enterprises. There are two levels –  “Associate and Professional – that deliver essential knowledge covering everything from the basics of 5G networks to professional level planning and design.”

The Nokia Bell Labs 5G certification program will officially start by the end of this month, with Associate Level Certification and End-to-End 5G Foundation course. The “Professional” courses will follow later in the year.
