Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 receive permanent offline price cut in India

On their first time participating at IFA, Nokia Mobile announced the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 in September 2019. The two devices put design and experience before specifications and were quickly available on major markets like India. As 91mobiles reports, the two devices received permanent price cuts in the offline sales market in India.

Per their sources, the recommended price of Nokia 7.2 decreased from INR 20,999 (€266) to INR 17,099 (€228) for the 6/64GB version, while the 4/64GB version received a price cut from INR 19,999 (€253) to INR 15,499. (€196) The Nokia 6.2 4/64GB price reduction goes from INR 17,699 (€224) to INR 12,499 (€158). The prices are recommended prices for offline retailers. The price of the devices online is same or lower than the ones mentioned above.

The prices now are definitely more competitive, but is it competitive enough for the Indian market? Offline retail is different than online and offline prices are usually higher, because there is less retail competition offline, so maybe the new prices will attract more customers.
