From 3rd to 5th December, Qualcomm will be holding a Tech Summit in Hawai, where the company is expected to present their new products, including the next flagship line of mobile System on Chips and, of course, 5G.
Nokia Mobile’s CPO Juho Sarvikas will be there at the Tech Summit and even join Qualcomm’s president Cristiano Amon on stage to discuss the 5G plans for Nokia phones. The event can be followed here.
Nokia Mobile already announced that a 5G midrange device will be launched in 2020, featuring the Snapdragon 7xx platform that will support 5G. The device was described as “affordable 5G phone”, that should cost half the price of current 5G phones, or around 500 euros. The earliest we can expect the device to be announced is MWC2020.
