Back in the Lumia days, Nokia invested a lot to promote the quality of cameras on her phones. The Nokia Connects cooperated with numerous phonographers and professional photographers that showed the possibilities of Nokia 808 PureView, Nokia Lumia 1020 and other Lumia phones.
With the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia Mobile eventually stated that they are planning to enter more aggressively in the world of phonography, and finally with the Nokia 9 Pureview completely revealed their intention.
The truth is that Nokia Mobile needs to invest more in camera technology and software, but they are already doing a great job for a small company. Nokia 7.2 is bringing a capable camera to the midrange class of Nokia phones. As Juho Verkkala said in a promo video, this device is here to enable you to capture great daylight or low light images thanks to the combination of ZEISS optics and powerfull AI software.
To prove that concept, Nokia Mobile cooperated with Ása Steinars, a landscape photographer, which will be sharing photos captured with 7.2 in a revived ShotOnNokia series (of videos?). You can already follow Ása on Instagram and check her work with 7.2, and you can also share some of your photos with the #ShotOnNokia tag.
Ása also mentioned in a video that now anyone can create a great photo Actually, that is completely true. You people are already doing a great job and photos from Nokia users like Chetan (Nokia 8.1), Anthony Hunter, Juho, dOrso (Nokia 9 Pureview), Prayash (Nokia2), Monarch and others are just excellent.
Anyway, I’m glad to see this kind of promotion since it feels so natural and nonintrusive. What do you think guys, is ShotOnNokia a good thing now that all the other manufacturers can create great camera phones?
