Nokia TA-1170 certified in China; Nokia TA-1196 & TA-1170 in Thailand
Next month, Nokia Mobile scheduled a press event in Berlin, a day before IFA2019, where the company is rumored to announce six new devices – three smartphones and three feature phones. We have lately seen a lot of different Nokia models (with different TA numbers) being certified in different countries, and today a brand new model surfaced up in China and Thailand, while an already seen model passed the certification in Thailand.
The Nokia TA-1170 has been certified in China (cqc.com.cn) and Thailand, with the certification process in China revealing the phone supports LTE and 5W charging. This looks OK for a low end smartphone, but it can also be a 4G feature phone.
Regarding Nokia TA-1196 that was certified in Thailand, we know her from passing FCC together with the single SIM version TA-1178, and it is confirmed that this is a smartphone with camera, NFC, and dimensionsĀ of 75mm x 160mm.
The situation with all the TA numbers will be clearer once 5th SeptemberĀ arrives and we connect all the new devices and their TA numbers.
