First video unboxing of Nokia 105 (2019) and an infographic about the phone that can withstand the weight of a panda
|Since the announcement in 2013, the Nokia 105 and all of the refreshed versions sold in millions and the new infographic posted by Nokia Mobile’s CPO Juho Sarvikas might reveal why. The new version of the popular Nokia 105 also got its first video unboxing.
The unboxing was made by the YouTube channel Mobile World Urdu and in the video one can see the box the device comes in and how the phone looks from all sides. The back cover is, of course removable, with the battery being removable as well. The phone comes in three colors: black, blue and pink.
What can withstand the weight of a Panda, survive a drop from horseback, get through 9 music festivals without losing steam and fit as many people as 1/10th of London’s O2 Arena? Legendary Nokia 105 of course! Available in select markets starting today! #Nokia105 #LegendReturns pic.twitter.com/m0mREyeaYf

HMD’s Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas shared via Twitter an inforgraphic related to the Nokia 105 (2019). Even though I’m a relatively young person, the shared inforgraphic took me back to early 2000s, which isn’t necessary a bad thing. Some impressive facts about Nokia 105 (2019) include that it is drop-tested from a height of 1.5m and can withstand the weight of a panda, and they start at around 70kgs.
Other interesting things that invoke a feeling of nostalgia are the ability to save 2000 contacts and 500 messages. Seriously speaking, the infographic is well made because it associates features of a basic phone with activities a person might want to do with a feature phone, instead a smartphone. I’m not sure about letting a panda sit on you(r phone), but if you’re into that, go for it. 😉
