Render of Nokia 2.2 leaks just before the official announcement

The famous Internet leaker Evan Blass, better known under the Twitter handle @evleaks, has leaked the press render of the Nokia 2.2. While all of us were hoping to finally see the Nokia 6.2, it seems that today’s event might just be reserved for the 2.2.

The Nokia 2.2 continues the design we saw with the Nokia 3.2 and 4.2, and features teardrop notch and a dedicated Google Assistant button. The device looks good for a low end model and carries the Android One logo, so no Android Go for Nokia 2(.x) series of phones in 2019.

We will know more about the device in a matter of hours. I just hope HMD did organize two launch events just to show off the Nokia 2.2.
