Piceasoft appoints HMD Global’s (former) COO as their new CEO

Finnish company Piceasoft, specialized in software solution for managing the lifecycle of mobile phones, announced that they appointed Pia Kantola as the new CEO. Pia Kantola is HMD’s (now former) Chief Operating Officer and Vice President. Before HMD, she worked at Microsoft and Nokia, while her former education includes Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering and a MSc in Financial Administration.

On HMD’s official page, Pia Kantola is still mentioned as the company’s VP Customer Experience, but I guess the site will be updated soon. As we learned, HMD is at the moment undertaking restructuring in Europe, so no executives for the region of Europe can be found on their official website. We will inform you when the changes take place.
