Nokia 2 receives new stability update with October security patch

A device that got the least love from HMD in terms of updates is the Nokia 2. It’s a sad story of a device that should have come with Android 8.1 Go instead of regular Android Nougat, but at the time of the announcement, Android Go wasn’t ready.

The still Nougat-running Nokia 2 received a new update, that includes “Improved system stability” and the October security patch. The update version is V0.680 and it is 566MB in size.

Nokia Mobile is currently beta testing Android 8.1 Oreo for Nokia 2, but no words about an official release date for all Nokia 2 users. If you have a 2 and received the update, leave a comment down below, together with some thoughts about the device. 🙂
