Official: This is Nokia 2.1 *Updated*

Nokia 2, the most forgotten Nokia phone has also been overhauled and launched at the Moscow event. This phone was updated the most of all phones launched today. The biggest change is its 5.5 inch HD screen which won’t be using much of 4000 mAh battery that HMD put into Nokia 2.1. Actually, they have managed to squeeze another 3 hours from this battery, mostly thanks to the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 425 and Android Oreo 8.1 (Go edition) software. This Android version is optimized for fast usage of apps, and those pre-loaded apps are designed to use less storage space and data.

Another great thing about new Nokia 2, besides the bigger screen, is the front-facing stereo speakers which will allow its users to enjoy both in video and music content on their device. The polycarbonate body of Nokia 2.1 remained a bit chubby, but it looks great in new color versions, especially in copper blue.

Here are the specs of the device:

  • Dimensions: 153.7 x 77.7 x 9.35 mm
