Check out the first unboxing and hands on video of the new Nokia X6

Yesterday we officially saw the new Nokia X6 announced in China. It’s the first device from HMD’s new X-series of devices and it comes with the notch, solid specifications and a great price. We wrote more about the device in this article here, while down below follows the first unboxing video of the new Nokia X6. The video is uploaded to bilibili.com and if you’re having problems watching it down below, you can follow this link to the version at bilibili.com.

As you can see from the video, it’s not just the unboxing, but a mini review. Nokia X6 package is compared to the packages of other Nokia devices available in China. The device itself is also compared to other Nokia phones. There is also a gameplay demo and quick camera comparison, but it’s hard to make any conclusions about these segments of the device based on the video. For more details we will have to wait for detailed reviews or a test unit if the X6 goes global.

The X6 package comes with the USB Type C cable and wall adapter for fast charging, a protective case, and a SIM door pin, alongside the paperwork and the device itself. There are no headphones out of the box, but you do have a 3.5mm jack on the X6 so you can use your old ones.

It seems that the X6 is tailored for the Chinese market and it will be interesting to see if this device will be available globally. I don’t think we will see it outside China, but who knows. Maybe HMD proves me wrong at the upcoming Nokia phones event in Moscow on 29th May.
