Nokia 6 users soon to get beta version of Android Oreo
HMD Global announced a while ago that all current Nokia phones will get Android Oreo before the New Year. Oreo for Nokia 8 is soon going to be released since the beta testing process is over, and now it is time for the Nokia 6 to get it. But, before it will be publicly released for all the models, HMD will first open NokiaMobile Beta Labs, or beta testing of the Android Oreo for Nokia 6. Juho Sarvikas, HMD’s CPO, has just announced that Beta testing of Android Oreo for Nokia 6 will start soon what means that owners of the Nokia 6 will be able to download the latest Android version and test it before it becomes publicly available, if they want to. I can not confirm if this applies to Chinese versions of the Nokia 6, the TA-1000 and TA-1003, but hopefully it does.

Even though I would love to see stable Oreo to be released by now, it is good to know that HMD takes care of the end product that is going to be released on their devices. This also means that HMD is still a small company that pretty much needs help of thousands of end product users, so let us give them a hand.
