The newly announced Nokia smartphones from the Android One family – the Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7 plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco, will be available in Finland from 19th April. Finns already have the opportunity to preorder the 3 mentioned devices from operators Elisa and DNA. The new Nokia 6 is priced in Finland at €299, the Nokia 7 plus will cost €399, while the 8 Sirocco will retail for €749. Elisa and DNA will offer the 8 Sirocco for €698.40 without a contract.
At MWC 2018 a month ago HMD Global announced four new Nokia smartphones, the Nokia 1, 6.1 (new Nokia 6 or Nokia 6 2018), Nokia 7 plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco, together with a new 4G feature phone, the Nokia 8110 4G. We had the pleasure of spending some time with the device at HMD’s regional event in Vienna, and our first impressions of the devices can be found here.
Regarding the prices in Finland, it seems reasonable considering the announced recommended prices without taxes. The Nokia 7 plus is probably the most competitively priced of all three smartphones. There is no info regarding the availability of Nokia 1 or Nokia 8110 4G at the moment. All four announced smartphones should be globally available starting April, while the 8110 sale follows a month after, in May.
