#Android August update available for #Nokia 5 and 6

HMD promised to keep its Nokia phones up to date, and they continue to keep that promise by pushing the August security update for their range of smartphones. At the moment, we can confirm that the update is available for Nokia 6 (TA-1021) and Nokia 5, but it could very well be out also for the Chinese versions of Nokia 6 and the 3, but we cannot confirm it just yet.

The update is about 120MB in size and brings the Android August security patch. You can download it by entering Settings->About phone-> System updates.

If you are a Nokia 3 users, by the end of this month, the 3 should receive the Android 7.1.1 update, that HMD Global and MediaTek are working on.
