OnePlus Quietly Unveils Buds Pro 4 with Dynaudio Tech and 53-Hour Battery

Without fanfare, OnePlus has pulled the curtain back on its next generation of premium wireless audio. The OnePlus Buds Pro 4 have officially surfaced on the company’s global website, revealing a comprehensive spec sheet that highlights significant acoustic upgrades, advanced active noise cancellation (ANC), and a heavy emphasis on AI-driven features.
While a formal launch event has yet to take place, the listing provides a complete picture of the hardware and design ahead of the earbuds’ retail debut.
Dual-Driver Audio and Dynaudio Tuning
Continuing its partnership with Danish audio specialists Dynaudio, OnePlus has overhauled the internal acoustics. The Buds Pro 4 feature a dual-driver array consisting of an 11mm composite woofer and a 6mm planar tweeter. Crucially, each driver is powered by an independent digital-to-analog converter (DAC), a configuration OnePlus claims will deliver a 50 percent increase in bass output compared to the previous generation.
Audiophiles are well-catered for, with the earbuds supporting Hi-Res Audio via the LHDC 5.0 codec. This allows for 24-bit/192kHz audio transmission at bitrates up to 1Mbps. The acoustic package is rounded out by spatial audio with dynamic head tracking and a personalized “Golden Sound” profile that tailors the EQ to the user’s specific hearing capabilities.
Next-Generation ANC and AI Integration
Noise cancellation sees a substantial on-paper upgrade. OnePlus states the adaptive ANC system on the Buds Pro 4 is twice as effective at suppressing ambient noise as the Buds Pro 3. For voice calls, the earbuds utilize a triple-microphone array paired with a bone-conduction voice pick-up (VPU) sensor to isolate the user’s voice in loud environments.
The software suite leans heavily into current tech trends. The Buds Pro 4 support AI Live Translation, direct voice access to Google Gemini, and Dolby-powered Clear Audio Recording. Taking a page from the health-tech sector, the earbuds also include a unique Neck Health monitoring feature. For mobile gamers using compatible OnePlus smartphones, audio latency drops to a highly competitive 39 milliseconds.
Battery Life and Durability
Endurance is a major selling point for the new model. With ANC disabled, the earbuds boast up to 13 hours of standalone playback, extending to a massive 53 hours when combined with the charging case. With ANC active on the standard AAC codec, total battery life sits at 26 hours.
Fast charging remains a staple of the OnePlus ecosystem; a brief 10-minute stint on the charger yields up to 14 hours of playback. The case also supports Qi wireless charging. The earbuds themselves carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for workouts, though the charging case lacks official water resistance.
Pricing and Market Availability
The earbuds are listed in two colorways: Titanium Shadow and Polar White. While the global website confirms the hardware, OnePlus has left the pricing, official launch dates, and specific regional availability blank for now.
However, industry context provides a strong hint at the expected cost. The OnePlus Buds Pro 4 share a nearly identical hardware and feature footprint with the recently launched Oppo Enco X4. Given the shared corporate DNA between OnePlus and Oppo, it is highly likely the Buds Pro 4 are a rebranded counterpart for international markets. The Oppo Enco X4 retails for €219 in Europe, suggesting the OnePlus Buds Pro 4 will land in a similar premium price bracket when they officially hit shelves.
