Infinix GT 50 Pro Launched in India: A Dedicated Gaming Beast for Rs. 69,999

 Infinix GT 50 Pro

Six months after its initial global debut, the Infinix GT 50 Pro has officially landed in the Indian market. Engineered strictly for mobile gaming enthusiasts, the device bypasses conventional smartphone trends to focus heavily on tactile controls, aggressive thermal management, and robust accessory integration.

At the core of the GT 50 Pro is the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, capable of peak clock speeds up to 3.25GHz. Infinix is offering the device in India in a single, high-end configuration featuring 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of fast UFS 4.1 storage.

To sustain peak performance without thermal throttling, Infinix has implemented an advanced micro-pump liquid cooling system. This setup utilizes a ceramic heat pump to continuously circulate liquid coolant across a massive 6437mm² diaphragm, efficiently pulling heat away from the processor during intensive gaming sessions.

The physical design caters directly to competitive players. The phone is equipped with dual-stage mechanical shoulder buttons, branded as Open-Cut Pressure-Sense GT Triggers. These tactile triggers recognize light, heavy, and sliding presses, allowing gamers to map up to four distinct inputs per button. Furthermore, a dedicated N1 network chip is integrated into the motherboard to minimize latency and ensure signal stability during online multiplayer matches.

Visuals are handled by a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a fluid 144Hz variable refresh rate. The panel is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and features 2304Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain and screen flicker. Powering the hardware is a massive 6,500mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wired charging to top up smaller peripherals.

While cameras are secondary on a gaming rig, the GT 50 Pro still packs a respectable optical setup. The rear module houses a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens. A 13MP front-facing camera handles selfies and streaming duties. The device runs on Android 16 via Infinix’s custom XOS 16 interface, backed by a promise of three years of major OS upgrades and five years of security patches.

Pricing, Bundles, and Availability

The Infinix GT 50 Pro is currently available for pre-order at Rs. 69,999 through Flipkart and the official Infinix India website, with open sales commencing on October 30. It is available in two colorways: Black Abyss and Red Blaze.

To sweeten the deal, early buyers receive a bundled gaming accessory kit valued at Rs. 24,999. The premium bundle transforms the phone into a mobile console, including a TV dock, a physical controller attachment, a snap-on cooling fan with bypass charging support, and a MagSafe-compatible case.
