ColorOS 17 Open Beta Launched for These Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme Phones

Ahead of the highly anticipated global launch of ColorOS 17 on October 13, Oppo has officially kicked off its Open Beta program, giving users an early opportunity to test the latest software. Because OnePlus and Realme are now unifying their software under the ColorOS umbrella, the beta program has been extended to include select premium smartphones from all three brands.
ColorOS 17: Oppo Leads the Charge
Oppo has opened its ColorOS 17 beta testing to eight of its high-end models across the Find and Reno series. The eligible devices include the Find X9 Ultra, Find X9 Pro, Find X9, Find X9s, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8, with availability in India, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Furthermore, the Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Mini are eligible for the beta program, though testing for these two models is currently restricted to India and Malaysia.
While open beta builds are typically stable enough for daily use, Oppo advises that users may still experience minor bugs or incomplete features. To apply, users must ensure their device is updated to the latest software, navigate to Settings > About device, tap the top of the page, select the top-right menu, and choose Beta Program.
OnePlus Users Get Early Access
Through its community forums, OnePlus announced that five of its premium devices are eligible for the ColorOS 17 Open Beta: the OnePlus 15, 15R, 13, 13R, and 13s. Currently, this early access program is exclusive to users in India.
OnePlus has cautioned early adopters that certain features may not be fully functional in this preliminary build and will be refined in subsequent updates. Interested OnePlus users can register by going to Settings > About device, tapping the three-dot icon in the top-right corner, and selecting Beta program.
Realme Joins the Beta Phase
Realme is also bringing the ColorOS 17 Open Beta to its flagship user base in India. The program is open to the last two generations of the GT series, specifically the Realme GT 8 Pro, GT 8 Pro Dream Edition, GT 7 Pro, GT 7T, GT 7, and GT 7 Dream Edition.
To participate, Realme users must verify they have no pending system updates, navigate to Settings > About Device, tap Up to date, select the top-right icon, and tap Beta Program to submit their application.
For users whose devices are not included in this initial beta phase, more information regarding the broader software rollout timeline is expected during the official ColorOS 17 global launch on October 13.
