Vivo S2 FE Launched in India: 10,000mAh Battery and Military-Grade Durability

Vivo has expanded its S-Series smartphone portfolio in the Indian market with the launch of the S2 FE, a mid-range device engineered specifically for extreme battery endurance and military-grade durability.
The standout feature of the Vivo S2 FE is its massive 10,000mAh battery. To demonstrate its capacity, Vivo claims the device can power a 32-hour continuous livestream, translating to multi-day battery life for standard use. It supports 44W wired fast charging. Despite housing a battery significantly larger than the industry average, Vivo has managed to keep the device’s physical footprint relatively manageable at 8.6mm thick and 225 grams.
Durability is another primary focus. The S2 FE carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it fully protected against dust, standard water submersion, and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. Furthermore, it holds a MIL-STD-810H certification for drop and shock resistance, positioning it as a highly practical option for outdoor workers or consumers prone to dropping their hardware.

The device is built around a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. It achieves a peak brightness of 2,000 nits in high-brightness mode, ensuring clear visibility under direct sunlight. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor. Buyers can choose between 6GB and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, though both memory configurations are strictly limited to 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
For photography, the S2 FE utilizes a straightforward dual-camera setup on the rear: a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX852 sensor and a basic 2-megapixel depth sensor. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera handles selfies. The smartphone ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, and Vivo is bundling a six-month trial of Google One, which includes 100GB of cloud storage for new subscribers.
The Vivo S2 FE officially goes on sale on October 20, 2026. It will be available in Stellar Green, Zen White, and Titan Black. The 6GB RAM configuration is priced at ₹38,999, while the 8GB RAM variant costs ₹42,999. The device will be distributed through Vivo’s official website, Amazon India, Flipkart, and various physical retail partners. This release closely follows Vivo’s other recent Indian market launches, including the V80 and the ultra-premium X Fold 6.
