Vivo S60t launches with 7,200mAh battery and 50MP periscope camera

Vivo S60t

Vivo has quietly added the S60t to its smartphone lineup in China. The new model combines a 7,200mAh battery with a 144Hz AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. It is listed in two storage configurations, starting at 3,599 yuan.

Display and performance

The Vivo S60t has a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a 2750 × 1260 resolution, 10-bit color, HDR support and a 144Hz refresh rate. Vivo lists a 300Hz touch-sampling rate in gaming mode and a 94.7% screen-to-body ratio.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is paired with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. Vivo also advertises a memory-fusion feature that can allocate up to 24GB of storage as virtual memory; it does not increase the phone’s physical RAM.

Despite its large battery, the S60t measures between 7.79mm and 7.92mm thick, depending on the color, and weighs up to 207g. The 7,200mAh battery supports 90W wired charging, while the USB-C port can also be used for reverse charging.

Cameras and other features

On the back, the S60t has a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilization. The front camera is a 50MP unit with autofocus.

The main and periscope cameras can record 4K video. Vivo also lists up to 100× digital zoom, 4K Live capabilities and what it describes as gimbal-level stabilization. The maximum zoom figure refers to digital magnification, not optical zoom.

The phone runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. Its other features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, an infrared blaster and an X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback. Vivo lists IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
