Oppo K14 Plus Launched in India: 8,000mAh Battery and IP69K Rating
Oppo has officially expanded its mid-range portfolio in India with the launch of the K14 Plus. Engineered to prioritize endurance and durability, the new smartphone introduces flagship-level ruggedness to a more accessible price point, boasting a massive 8,000mAh battery and an ultra-durable IP69K rating.
The visual experience is anchored by a 6.78-inch AMOLED display featuring a crisp 1.5K resolution and a fluid 144Hz refresh rate. Designed for optimal outdoor visibility, the panel peaks at an impressive 3,600 nits of brightness and houses an integrated in-display fingerprint scanner. Despite packing a colossal battery, Oppo has managed to keep the device’s footprint relatively manageable; the phone weighs 207 grams and measures 8.4mm thick.
Under the hood, the K14 Plus is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max processor, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and snappy UFS 3.1 storage. To ensure sustained performance and prevent thermal throttling during demanding tasks or prolonged gaming sessions, the handset is equipped with a substantial 5,000mm² vapor chamber cooling system. Software duties are handled by ColorOS 16.5, which is based on the latest Android 16 operating system.
On the imaging front, the device sports a dual-camera array on the rear, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharper low-light photography. This is supported by a 2-megapixel depth lens, while a 16-megapixel front-facing camera is nestled in the display for selfies. The hardware package is rounded out by 45W wired fast charging, stereo speakers, and modern connectivity standards including 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4.
Available in Solar Orange and Star White, the Oppo K14 Plus will officially go on sale starting October 8.
