Following a three-month exclusivity period for the flagship Galaxy S26 series, Samsung is significantly accelerating the rollout of its One UI 9.0 beta program. The highly anticipated software update is now expanding to a much broader range of Galaxy smartphones, allowing more users to test the upcoming interface and features ahead of the official public release.

This expansion brings welcome news to owners of previous-generation flagships and foldable devices, who can now participate in the testing phase.

One UI 9.0 Beta: Official List of Supported Galaxy Devices

Samsung has confirmed that the following smartphones are currently eligible to join the One UI 9.0 beta program:

• Galaxy S26 Series: Galaxy S26, S26+, S26 Ultra

• Galaxy S25 Series: Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 FE

• Galaxy S24 Series: Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra

• Foldables: Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6

• Mid-Range: Galaxy A57 5G

The company is expected to continuously update this list as more models are approved for the testing phase in the coming weeks.

Regional Availability and Limitations

As is customary with Samsung’s beta rollouts, participation is geographically restricted.

For the Galaxy S26 series, the beta program is currently live in the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Poland, Germany, and South Korea. However, for the newly added devices—including the Galaxy S25 series and the foldables—the program appears to be operating on a narrower scope, reportedly limited to the US, the UK, India, and South Korea for the time being.

How to Enroll in the One UI 9.0 Beta Program

If you own a supported Galaxy device and reside in an eligible region, joining the beta testing phase is a straightforward process.

1. Open the Samsung Members app on your smartphone.

2. Locate and tap the prominent One UI 9.0 Beta banner on the home screen.

3. Review the terms and confirm your enrollment in the program.

4. Navigate to your phone’s main Settings menu.

5. Select “Software update,” then tap “Download and install” to fetch the beta firmware.

Because beta software is inherently experimental and prone to bugs, it is highly recommended that users back up all important data before proceeding with the installation.
