Samsung One UI 9 Update: Which Galaxy Phones Get the New AI Features?
Samsung began rolling out the stable One UI 9 update on September 16, starting with the Galaxy S26 series. The update will reach more eligible Galaxy devices as 2026 progresses.
One UI 9 brings a handful of Galaxy AI upgrades. There’s My FanCam, which can turn an existing video into a cropped clip that follows a person you choose.
It also lets you create custom Now Brief cards for information such as weather, health, and videos. Call Brief can show relevant information on the call screen, such as a calendar event or the local time for someone you’re calling.
Now Nudge is more useful in One UI 9. Its recommendations can appear in conversation notifications or through a floating button even when the keyboard is closed. It can also suggest more actions, such as entering reservation details or addresses and saving a location to Google Maps.
One UI 9 Galaxy AI features compatibility
These Galaxy AI features are reserved for flagship devices. But even if your phone is eligible for One UI 9 (or comes running it out of the box), it doesn’t mean it supports every feature.
