Following the late-August unveiling of the Galaxy S26 FE, Samsung is setting its sights on its next generation of premium flagships. A Radical, iPhone-Inspired Camera Bar

According to a schematic image published by prominent tech insider Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), Samsung is preparing a drastic departure from its current design language.

The leaked blueprint suggests the Galaxy S27 Ultra will abandon its signature floating camera lenses in favor of a thick, horizontal rectangular camera bar positioned at the top of the rear panel. Within this housing, two camera sensors are separated into individual rings, while the third sensor shares a pill-shaped cutout with a laser autofocus module and an LED flash.

This horizontal layout bears a striking resemblance to the camera island found on Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro. If this design makes it to the final production model, Samsung is likely to face heavy scrutiny from both critics and fans for adopting an aesthetic so closely tied to its primary rival.

The Arrival of Native Qi2 Charging

Beyond the controversial camera bump, the leaked image reveals another highly requested hardware addition: a circular magnetic ring integrated directly into the chassis.

This strongly indicates that the Galaxy S27 Ultra will natively support the Qi2 wireless charging standard. By building magnets directly into the device, Samsung will finally allow users to snap on magnetic chargers, wallets, and mounts without needing to purchase a specialized third-party case.
