Motorola Moto G47 Power Leaks: A 7,000mAh Battery Monster is Coming

Moto G47 Power

Motorola is gearing up to release a battery-focused powerhouse, the Moto G47 Power, designed specifically to eliminate smartphone battery anxiety. Recently spotted in Europe’s EPREL energy efficiency database by Xpertpick, the unannounced device (model XT2625-15) boasts a massive rated battery capacity of 6,790mAh.

Moto G47 Power

Given standard industry marketing practices, Motorola will almost certainly promote this as a 7,000mAh battery—a significant leap from the 5,200mAh cell found in the standard Moto G47. To handle the increased capacity, regulatory documents confirm a bump to 33W wired fast charging, an upgrade from the base model’s 20W limit. The device will also feature an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and is slated to receive up to five years of security updates.

Beyond Raw Capacity: Real-World Endurance

The EPREL database provides granular insights that paint a clear picture of the phone’s expected longevity. Under standardized testing parameters, the Moto G47 Power achieves an impressive 78 hours and 19 minutes of endurance, securing a Class-A energy efficiency rating. Furthermore, the battery is rated to endure 1,200 charge cycles before significant degradation, and the handset earns a Class-B repairability score. These metrics signal a device engineered for long-term, heavy-duty usage.

Familiar Hardware Foundation

While Motorola has kept the rest of the spec sheet under wraps, an early listing from Italian retailer Epto priced the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration at approximately €350.

Industry expectations point to the Power edition inheriting its core hardware from the standard Moto G47, which launched globally in the spring of 2026. Buyers can anticipate a 6.67-inch 120Hz IPS LCD with HD+ resolution, peaking at 1,050 nits of brightness and shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Processing will likely be handled by the reliable MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, running Android 16 with Motorola’s clean Hello UI. Photography duties are expected to remain unchanged, featuring a 108-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 2-megapixel secondary lens, alongside an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
